Monday 17th to Friday 21st February
After the great success of the last two years we are once again welcoming you to come and visit our reconstructed Viking village on the outskirts of historic York.
Take part in a multiple award winning Viking experience which is usually only available to school groups. You will get to dress as a Viking, learn how to use a spear and shield, play and make a Viking game to take home with you, and see what it was really like to live in a Viking Longhouse.
The experience is £7.50 per child and will last for approximately 1 1/2 hours and is outside so sensible shoes and coat are advised. This event is not included in the year ticket.*
There will be two slots each day and they will be at the following times:
10:00 – 11:30
13:00 – 14:30
We strongly recommend either calling us on 01904 489966, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or private messaging us on Facebook to book a spot as places are limited and based on the last couple of years we expect to sell out.
Please note that the Farming Museum galleries will not be open for this event. However the playground and the cafe will be.
*There must be at least one adult in your party to supervise but they will not be charged.
