‘Counting Planes’ Contemporary Dance

We welcome the wonderful Blood Memory Dance Company to Murton Park. Their professional dance team will offer their spectacular performance and 30 minute dance workshop, across the generations which is inclusive to all ages and abilities, with the aim of helping to build connections, improve fitness, raise aspirations and positivity. The dance project explores inter-generational relationships, bonding and storytelling through dance and music.

1.30pm Blood Memory Dance perform ‘Counting Planes’

The piece will be performed across Yorkshire by three athletic hip hop / contemporary dancers, choreographed by Artistic Director Emma Clayton.  Set in World War II the dancers take the audience on an emotive journey, where we see hidden stories unfold about ordinary people from extraordinary times and is set to enchanting and soulful live music, composed by Georgina Jakubiak.
