The museum will be open daily from Sat 31st March 2012
Our hours of opening are 10am - 5pm

Please note the museum is currently closed for the winter season. Library and archive open by appointment.

Children £4 (under 3s are free)

Family Ticket £16 (includes 2 Adults & 2 Children)

Last admission is at 3.30pm

Reductions are available for groups. Guided tours can also be arranged for interested parties but must be pre-booked. Please contact us for details.

At some of our events there may be a small charge for materials provided.

Please note that Admission prices include entry to the whole site, but during School Education visits there may be limited or no access to the living history sites.

Cafe

Snacks and hot drinks are available all day in our atrium coffee baa. Our main cafe will be open on event days.

Public Transport

The 747 (Pocklington) East Yorkshire bus service runs from York railway station to Murton village.

The No. 10 First York bus service also runs from York railway station to Grimston Court. The museum is a 5/10 minute walk away. From the bus, follow Bore Tree Baulk. At the end cross the A166 and turn right, Murton Lane is on the left. The museum is at the far end of the lane on the left.

The museum is also on the Sustrans cycle route 66
