Rare Breeds Day – 21st May

Come along to our Rare Breeds day on Sunday 21st May. In addition to our usual attractions, members of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust will be showing a variety of their livestock, including Devon and Cornwall Long Wools, Manx Laoghtan and many more. The star of the show may just be the Boreray, Britain’s rarest breed of sheep.

Learn more about the work of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust from the members of the society who will be here and hear about ways in which you could help to support this important work.

The cafe will be open serving hot and cold refreshments and the Derwent Valley Light Railway will be running trains.
