This thoughtfully designed and gently facilitated day has been developed in partnership with Talking About Loss, Hayley Owen Funeral Directors, and The Yorkshire Barn, and is aimed at children who have experienced bereavement, while also providing them with a fun and enriching day out during the school holidays.
Join us for a gentle day where children can spend time with others who have also lost a loved one. This is an opportunity to share, reflect, and simply be together.
Activities include:
- Stone painting
- Plant pot making and painting
- Story session
- Ice cream sundae making
- Visit the animals in the park
- Nature walk
- Clay lamp making
- Suncatchers
- Memory kite making
A delicious buffet lunch will be provided by The Yorkshire Barn Café and entry to the park for children and one adult. Please book a place in advance by visiting here.
