Join us on Thursday 28th August 2025 to celebrate Makaton International Awareness Day!
Makaton tutors Jo Bryenton and Julie Tarn will be here for a fun-filled event suitable for every age.
Working in partnership with Jo Bryenton, Murton Park has the Bronze Makaton Friendly Accreditation. Makaton signs and symbols are used across the park to help visitors with learning and communication difficulties.
If you’re new to Makaton or simply want to meet new people, come along and celebrate Makaton International Awareness Day with us!

Here’s what we’ll be up to:
Funfair games including splat a rat, hook-a-duck and a coconut shy.

There will be 50 Makaton/Murton Park goodie bags to giveaway – first come first served.
