Term Time Living History Interpreter

Murton Park is looking for a Term Time Living History Interpreter

The role:

  • To deliver all aspects of our living history learning programme on site. Working individually, remotely or as part of a team, to act as support or lead character.
  • To travel to schools as part of our in-school learning programme and deliver outreach education as a character in the classroom.
  • Actively develop and maintain a good level of appropriate subject knowledge. Care for and maintain props, materials and costumes to ensure a high standard of presentation.
  • High level of record keeping required.
  • To undertake the delivery of the museum learning and engagement programme for the public and museum visitors.

The person:

  • Clean driving licence required
  • Willingness to work remotely
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Educated to graduate/postgraduate/teaching qualification
  • Good level of subject knowledge
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Uphold staff policies
  • A team player with a can do attitude

Rate of pay: £12.35/hr
