FREE event by referral only. Each person attending needs a ticket (not just children).
For bereaved children and their families
Sunday 30th November | 2.30 pm to 5 pm
Join us for a cosy, magical Christmas afternoon, where families will enjoy:
- An entertaining train ride with singing snowmen
- Meeting Father Christmas and his elves and choosing a toy from the Toy Shop
- A fun-filled show with Mother Christmas and her cheeky helper
- A meaningful in-memory tealight craft, where children can decorate a wooden star or snowflake to remember someone special
- Making reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve
- A beautiful Wish Tree candle-lighting to end the afternoon together
Children will also be welcomed with a hot chocolate and cookie on arrival at The Yorkshire Barn. Adults receive a complimentary mince pie in the Magical Toy shop.
Booking Details
- Tickets are free for each child and one accompanying adult.
- Additional adult tickets can be booked at £12 each (includes entry and a mince pie). Please contact olivia@murtonpark.co.uk
- Free children/adult places are limited to 100 and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Please arrive at 2.30pm for registration — the event will finish at approximately 5pm.
Important Information
This event is free to attend thanks to the generous support of York Crematorium.
If your plans change and you are no longer able to come, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your place to another bereaved family.
