Did you know that 1066 marked a monumental turning point in European history?
It’s true! The year signaled the end of the Anglo-Saxon rule in England and welcomed the Normans. Imagine the scene: 14th October, 1066—The Battle of Hastings! King Harold II met his fate, and William the Conqueror claimed the crown. This iconic clash changed the course of England’s future and sent waves throughout Europe.
