Vanguard will host an engaging living history display in which its members willeducate the public on the day-to-day life of a person from the 13th Century.

Our 1st century Roman fort will be the backdrop to Roman Week between Tues 22nd and Friday 25th July.

- Learn about sheep breeds
- Take a look at some sheep-related museum objects!

This year, VE Day marked 80 years since the official surrender of all German military operations! Join us in August for a Home Front Week, and mark your calendars for Friday, August 15th, when we’ll host a delightful Living History Day, featuring a fun street party.

Join us during Viking Week to find out what it was like to live as a Viking settler.
From Tues 19th – Friday 22nd August, you can learn about the Vikings through crafts, storytelling and a Living History Day on Thursday 21st August.
