Before your visit:
- Please consider the following regarding clothing: Since we are an outdoor site, it is essential to wear appropriate attire based on the weather conditions. For instance, you should bring wet-weather clothing, warm clothing for the winter, sunscreen for the summer, sensible shoes year-round, and wellies if it’s wet outside.
- Additionally, if your group has any specific needs, please inform us in advance.</li>
- Moreover, we ask that you arrange your children into four groups before your visit. While four groups serve as a guideline, the actual number can be adjusted on the day, if necessary.
- Furthermore, please note that the minimum number of pupils is 25, while the maximum is 40. In addition, you are required to bring one adult for every 10 children in your group.
Upon arrival:
- Our day runs from 10 AM to 3 PM. If you need to adjust these times, please let us know, as we can accommodate small changes. If you might be running late, please give us a call (even a call 10 minutes in advance helps).
- The school bus or minibus should pull in front of the white gate. We want to avoid having children walking across the car park or the roundabout. This may require them to wait in line with other buses, but Murton staff will be available to assist upon arrival.
- A costumed staff member will greet you. We will need to speak with a lead teacher before the children exit the bus to confirm the number of staff and children, any additional needs, the departure time, and whether you would like to schedule a visit to the gift shop (this information helps us with the day’s timings).
- While you disembark from the buses, Murton staff will process the necessary paperwork. An invoice will be generated based on the final numbers and sent to your school.
